Professional Solar panel cleaning in Honolulu, Hawaii
Geri needed to have her solar panels cleaned. It has been well over 10 years since having the panels installed and they were way over due for a professional solar panel cleaning service. I met with Geri, who resides in Honolulu, to inspect the panels and to see how dirty they were. She had a total of 42 solar panels and they were heavily stained with dirt and algae. I explained that the large mango trees surrounding her property and busy road conditions contributes greatly to the build up of dirt and organics that may greatly reduce the panel's efficiency. Having the solar panels regularly cleaned will definitely benefit the homeowner's solar production and maximize electrical energy savings.
I begin the solar panel cleaning process with the set up of our Sola-Tec C-1000 rotating water fed powered brush which is specifically designed to clean solar panels. The soft bristle brush head rotates as water is fed through via pressure washer. This allows the brush to clean and rinse the panels at the same time. Next I perform a visual inspection of all the panels to ensure there are no cracks in the glass or other physical damage to the solar panels. I also look under the solar panels for any signs of bird nesting or disconnected inverter cables and will notify the homeowner accordingly.
Starting from one end I clean all the dirt and algae that has literally covered the entire surface of the solar panels. Upon completion of the job all the solar panels are free from any organics and the surface has a mirror reflective shine. I showed Geri the before and after pictures and she was very happy with the results.

Client Review
Pro Softwash cleaned over 40 solar panels that had over 10 years of debris and more in it. Keith was on time and professional. He explained the process. He did an excellent job and now the solar panels look new. I would recommend Pro Softwash for not only solar panel cleaning but also for roof cleaning. Mahalo Keith!
